Hellish Pleasure

the torture excruciating
agony never disappating
the pain becoming addiction
so far as to self infliction
though never the same
no matter how hot the flame
torture in its own right
feeling the noose pull tight
pain is all one has left
then it too is bereft
first addiction to this hell
then released from ones cell
set out cold turkey
to face this misery
the screams can be heard
the longing though absurd
feeling the urgent need
to unwillingly bleed
writhes in ones soul
wishing to be in that hole
from the pleasures of pain
naught as misery and longing remain
